Our research group “Seeking Justice, Compensation for Nuclear Victims/ Survivors around the World” (hereinafter referred to as “the research group”, “We” or “Us”) collects information on the uses of the official website (meaning the website consisting of pages whose URLs start with; hereinafter referred to as “this site”) to the extent necessary for the smooth provision of services via this site. Therefore, some opinions and inquiries may be forwarded to members of our research group relevant to their contents. (1) The research group will not utilize the collected information for any purpose other than those mentioned in 3. above nor will it provide any piece of such information to a third party except for the special reasons described in 4-(2) below or we have obtained consent from the relevant person in advance. However, statistical information that does not identify individuals (information on access to this site, attributes of users, etc.) may be disclosed.

(2) Under certain circumstances, the research group may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). We also may disclose your personal data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of the research group, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with this site.
